Eboney's Boudoir Experience

1) What made you choose Satin Dauls Boudoir?

I chose Satin Dauls Boudoir after seeing a video clip of Photographer Brianne Dauls during one of her sessions. Brianne was so energetic and encouraging towards her client. I knew that if I decided to book a boudoir shoot that I would need a little “push” and extra encouragement from the photographer. I saw that Brianne was demonstrating the poses for her clients and flooding them with compliments and (body) positivity. After I saw the diverse range of models in Satin Dauls’ collection, I knew that it was the best place for me!

2) What were you nervous about going into your session?

 I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to make the same poses or facial expressions as the models. I feared that I wouldn’t “look sexy enough.” I was totally wrong! My nerves calmed as soon as I arrived at the studio. Brianne and her team took extra time to instruct me on how to achieve each pose and facial expression. It was surprisingly easy as they have a toolbox of tricks to achieve mind-blowing photographs and “sexy” facial expressions! They are experts at shooting in a way that highlights your best features. 

3) What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part of the experience was getting to see some of the photos in real time! There were moments when Photographer Brianne would flip the camera and show me the photos. It was a huge confidence booster and as the session progressed, I felt more and more confident. I also loved that I could view and receive the photos the same day as the shoot! It made me feel so accomplished and was a great way to end the day.

4) How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

Now that I’ve completed the session, I feel powerful, motivated, and sexy. I have a newfound confidence in myself to step outside of my comfort zone. I've never felt so sexy and confident in my ability to take risks.

5) Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?

Boudoir helped me feel more confident in my body and my ability to step outside of my comfort zone. The team was so encouraging and I appreciated that they tailored the experience to my unique needs and body!

6) Would you recommend Satin Dauls Boudoir to others?

I would strongly encourage others to choose Satin Dauls Boudoir! Not only will you walk away with beautiful photos, you’ll leave with an experience that makes you feel confident and beautiful in your skin. I should also mention that I never felt pressured by Brianne and her team during the process. Instead, I felt supported and encouraged. Throughout the process, they often asked for my input, consent to try different poses, and made extra effort to ensure I was comfortableand having fun. It is a life-changing experience! I encourage anyone who is considering a boudior shoot to work with Satin Dauls Boudoir!
