Frequently Asked
Questions
From “what the hell do I wear?” to “please tell me you’re going to show me how to pose” — here are the answers to the questions almost everyone has before their boudoir session.
Nothing is too silly to ask.
I’m no model. How the hell will I know how to pose?
It’s all good — I coach you through every single pose from start to finish. We play the mirror game: I get into the pose first, then you copy me.
I’ll guide everything from your hands and feet to your expression, so you are never left wondering what to do.
I’m not a lingerie person. WTH do I wear?
You have options. The studio client closet has 500+ pieces ranging from XS–6X, and I pull options for you based on your questionnaire before you arrive.
I usually recommend a well-fitting bra and panty set or a bodysuit with support, but lingerie is never a requirement. We’ll typically photograph 2–3 looks.
Do I have to share my images?
Absolutely not. Your privacy is incredibly important. You decide whether your images can be shared publicly, shared anonymously, or kept completely private.
Do you Photoshop my images?
The goal is for you to still look like you. Hair and makeup, wardrobe, lighting, posing, and intentional angles do the heavy lifting.
I retouch temporary things like blemishes and bruises, but I do not heavily manipulate your body or turn you into someone you are not.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. The most popular option is my customizable in-house prepayment plan, which allows you to break your collection into weekly, biweekly, or monthly payments with no interest or credit check.
PayPal Credit, Affirm, and Afterpay are also available. All prepayments must be completed one week before your session. Explore financing options.
Is hair and makeup included?
Yes — professional hair and makeup are included with full sessions. You can bring inspiration, go soft and natural, or lean into full glam.
The goal is never to make you look like someone else. It’s to help you feel polished, pampered, and camera-ready before we even start shooting.
What products do you offer? Are digitals included?
Offerings include luxury albums, wall art, digital collections, diamond ice blocks, and other timeless custom pieces.
What is included depends on the collection you choose, so I recommend reviewing the current experience and investment details for exact inclusions.
How does purchasing a collection work?
Collections are prepurchased before your session and must be paid in full one week before your shoot. You are not waiting until reveal day to decide whether you want a collection.
Your same-day reveal is when you get to see your finished images and choose the favorites that belong in the collection you already purchased.
When do I see my images?
The same day. After we shoot, we break for roughly an hour while I edit your images. You’ll return for your reveal and see the finished gallery that afternoon.
What is the turnaround time on products?
Most physical products are ready within roughly 1–2 weeks depending on what you order and current production times. When appropriate, products may be shipped directly to you to keep the process simple.
How far out should I book?
As early as you can. The studio frequently books well in advance, and booking early gives you more flexibility with dates as well as more time to spread out your prepayments.
What actually happens on session day?
Full sessions begin at 10 AM with hair and makeup, followed by wardrobe and your shoot. We break for lunch while I edit, then you return for your same-day reveal.
It’s a full experience — not a rushed photo appointment.
Good. You’re very normal.
Think of it like standing at the edge of the high dive. The anticipation is the scary part. Then you get started and suddenly it becomes, “Wait… why was I so nervous? This is FUN.”
You cannot mess this up. You do not need to arrive overflowing with confidence. You just need to be willing to let yourself have the experience. I’ll handle the posing, the lighting, the direction, and all the tiny details.
Your job is to have fun. Let me take care of the rest.
