Tatiana's Boudoir Experience

1) What made you choose Satin Dauls Boudoir?

I’ve been following a few boudoir photographers but was always nervous to reach out. A friend posted on social media a picture from her shoot with Satin Dauls and I loved everything about her pictures. I felt more comfortable since I knew someone who had worked with the photographer and then I joined the VIP group on Facebook and that sealed the deal!

2) What were you nervous about going into your session?

Better question would be what wasn’t I nervous about! I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to pose properly and that I would look awkward in the pictures. And as most women I was nervous about how my body would come through in the pictures.

3) What was your favorite part of the experience?

I loved it all. Starting with the flawless hair and makeup that gave me that extra boost of confidence I needed to start the shoot. But my favorite part was the progression of my confidence during the shoot. After every pose the nerves started fading away. Brianne was amazing walking me through all the poses and making me feel at ease. Then she showed me a sneak peak from the camera, and I couldn’t believe that was me!

4) How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

I felt a sense of accomplishment. I’m still in shock when I see the pictures and think to myself, I actually did that, and I owned it!

5) Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?

Absolutely! Before I was a mother and a wife, I was a woman who was more confident and in tune with my own sexuality. Over the years I had lost parts of myself, and this experience brought it all back.

6) Would you recommend Satin Dauls Boudoir to others?

I would recommend Satin Dauls in a heartbeat. Brianne is amazing and will be your number one hype girl. To me it was so important to feel comfortable with the photographer and trust in them. She knows the right angle and lighting to make you feel and look like a true goddess.
