Steph's Boudoir Experience

1) What made you choose Satin Dauls Boudoir?

I came for the Valentines event this past year and everyone I met who already had a session raved about how wonderful it made the feel and about how awesome you and your staff are and they were absolutely right!

2) What were you nervous about going into your session?

I think I was most nervous about my face looking sexy or making the right facial expressions if that makes sense lol. I usually just smile in pics and this was a little out of my comfort zone and I just didn't want to look awkward.

3) What was your favorite part of the experience?

I loved interacting with you and your staff. Everyone was so nice and it felt like a little fun therapy session. I also just really liked taking the photos themselves, it was so cool to do the pose and even though it felt awkward when you actually saw the picture it was crazy how beautiful they turned out.

4) How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

Definitely a little sore lol I also feel sad that it's over! I am definitely thinking about booking more down the road!

5) Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?

Yes! Even though I still have insecurities about myself because they will always be there, I know that I am still beautiful with all of them. You and your staff also help with my perception of myself, during getting ready and before and after the shoot!

6) Would you recommend Satin Dauls Boudoir to others?

Absolutely! I have already told so many of my friends about my experience!

There’s something so powerful about flowers—how they push through the soil, endure the storms, and bloom even after the harshest seasons. That same resilience, beauty, and transformation are exactly what came to mind when my client, a breast cancer survivor, finally stepped in front of my camera for her boudoir session. She had waited for this moment, choosing to book her shoot after completing a deeply personal part of her journey—getting her floral bra tattoo. This tattoo wasn’t just about covering her scars; it was about turning them into something beautiful, something hers. It transformed the story her body told, intertwining survival with art in the most breathtaking way. For her, the tattoo wasn’t just ink—it was a reclamation. After everything her body had been through—the surgeries, the healing, the emotional weight of survival—this tattoo became a symbol of her strength, her femininity, and her choice to bloom again. Instead of seeing reminders of pain in the mirror, she now saw a garden of resilience. And when she stepped into the studio, wearing nothing but confidence and those beautifully inked flowers, it was like watching someone step fully into their power. Every pose, every glance in the mirror, every moment was a testament to the fact that she had survived—and she was thriving.
