Nikki's Boudoir Experience

1) What made you choose Satin Dauls Boudoir?

I was specifically looking for a black female photographer for this shoot. I was looking high and low for photographers in DC but none of them really spoke to me when reviewing their photos on Instagram. When I came across your page, I knew immediately that you were the photographer for me. Your behind the scene looks showed how you really work with clients, make them feel comfortable, and just create a fun environment. 

2) What were you nervous about going into your session?

I think I was most nervous about the poses and if they would actually come out looking good or awkward. I also don't really consider myself a sexy person so I was nervous about actually capturing that sex appeal and stepping out of my comfort zone.

3) What was your favorite part of the experience?

Kiki-ing with you was my favorite part. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, you made it feel like we were friends which made the experience even more comfortable. I've already told so many of my friends that they need to book with you because the experience was just such a positive one.

4) How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

I feel great! I was a little sore after but it really did feel like I had completed an intense yoga session. 

5) Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?

It definitely did. It was everything that I was looking for and then some. I realized that I can be sexy, I just need to lead with a little more confidence. Next time I'm trying to be sexy, I'm going to channel my inner Brianne and think back to this shoot.

6) Would you recommend Satin Dauls Boudoir to others?

1000%. I already have 🙂
