Miss D's Anonymous Boudoir Experience

1) What made you choose Satin Dauls Boudoir?

I was in search of something that catered to Black women, and would focus on ensuring I would be as comfortable as possible. In doing research, I loved that Brianne emphasized that. After my initial consultation call, it really affirmed that Satin Dauls was exactly what I was looking for.

2) What were you nervous about going into your session?

Yes. Nervous about bringing my own lingerie and would it look good for the shoot. Brianne and I used one of the outfits and picked one from her amazing closet. She knew what would photograph the best for my body shape and it worked out perfectly. 

3) What was your favorite part of the experience?

Overall, it was how casual the whole experience was. It felt like a fun activity with a friend. Very affirming and motivating, while also being fun and light.

4) How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

I feel very confident and excited. Excited about the photos, and also liberated and joyous about the experience as a whole. 

5) Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?

It definitely allowed me to see myself in a different light that was affirming and exhilarating. I have a new perspective of myself now.   

6) Would you recommend Satin Dauls Boudoir to others?

I definitely would! I love that it was set up to be a day to be pampered and have fun by including makeup and hair prior to the shoot. I would recommend the experience to friends and anyone looking for quality photos with an amazing experience should definitely book.
