Miss B's Anonymous Boudoir Experience

1) What made you choose Satin Dauls Boudoir?

The feed showed up on Facebook for a contest. I happened to be 2nd place winner.

2) What were you nervous about going into your session?

Yes. Nervous about bringing my own lingerie and would it look good for the shoot. Brianne and I used one of the outfits and picked one from her amazing closet. She knew what would photograph the best for my body shape and it worked out perfectly.

3) What was your favorite part of the experience?

Two things. Seeing my face and hair all glammed up. I’ve never done something like that. Second was the anticipation of seeing myself on screen for the slideshow. Each photo was more exciting and amazing than the next.

4) How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

Oh so excited to do it all again!

5) Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?

Yes absolutely. Brianne captured my essence in a way no one has ever before. Seeing myself looking so darn sexy was/is truly a gift. Now I’ll have those memories in print.

6) Would you recommend Satin Dauls Boudoir to others?

Oh yes. I already have shared my experience on Facebook in a few groups and told all my friends last night how exciting an experience it was for me.

There’s something so powerful about flowers—how they push through the soil, endure the storms, and bloom even after the harshest seasons. That same resilience, beauty, and transformation are exactly what came to mind when my client, a breast cancer survivor, finally stepped in front of my camera for her boudoir session. She had waited for this moment, choosing to book her shoot after completing a deeply personal part of her journey—getting her floral bra tattoo. This tattoo wasn’t just about covering her scars; it was about turning them into something beautiful, something hers. It transformed the story her body told, intertwining survival with art in the most breathtaking way. For her, the tattoo wasn’t just ink—it was a reclamation. After everything her body had been through—the surgeries, the healing, the emotional weight of survival—this tattoo became a symbol of her strength, her femininity, and her choice to bloom again. Instead of seeing reminders of pain in the mirror, she now saw a garden of resilience. And when she stepped into the studio, wearing nothing but confidence and those beautifully inked flowers, it was like watching someone step fully into their power. Every pose, every glance in the mirror, every moment was a testament to the fact that she had survived—and she was thriving.
