1) What made you choose Satin Dauls Boudoir?

I searched on Instagram for "new jersey black woman boudoir photography" and Satin Dauls had the most professional and well-made social media and digital presence. I take stuff like that super seriously, especially for an investment like this.

2) What were you nervous about going into your session?

Not much. I'm a Googler...so I research my decisions thoroughly before making plans and I look up other people's experiences beforehand to get an idea of what to expect. It also helped to make an inspiration Pinterest board and build an idea and mindset for what I wanted my photoshoot to express.

3) What was your favorite part of the experience?

Finally seeing the photos. I don't think I've ever been captured so well in photos as I was in this shoot. I feellike my true personality and womanhood shone through. I love how expressive my eyes were.

4) How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

Ready to try another supposedly scary thing. Ready to airdrop some of my photos in an airport because I'm a BAD BITCH and YOU'RE WELCOME IN ADVANCE!

5) Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?

Definitely. I felt confident in myself walking in but I really saw myself in a whole new light seeing myself captured so softly. Like I'm strong and can handle everything but I'm also so feminine and soft and gentle and I forget that sometimes. These pics help me remember.

6) Would you recommend Satin Dauls Boudoir to others?

Absolutely. A Black Woman owned, local NJ business with EXCELLENT customer relationship-building and professionalism and honestly the best studio I've ever seen. Get y'all's coins together and go support!
