Lara's Boudoir Experience

1) What made you choose Satin Dauls Boudoir?

I had been following your social media for months and loved your style. Then you had a contest to win a photoshoot so I entered. I didn't win, but that had gotten me all excited about the idea of doing it so I went ahead and booked.

2) What were you nervous about going into your session?

It's been a minute since I felt sexy. I didn't think anyone would want to see me sitting around in my underwear let alone think I looked good. I also was anxious about parking, finding the actual place, and all the stuff that comes with doing something new. (Thanks, social anxiety!)

3) What was your favorite part of the experience?

I loved how you made me feel like your hottest client, your top supermodel. Everything I did was so sexy!

4) How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

Here we are a day after and I'm still a little "high". I haven't stopped grinning like a fool all day.

5) Did the experience help give you a more positive perception of yourself?

Absolutely. I can totally see myself looking back on the photos in 5, 10, 25 years and thinking, "Damn! I looked amazing!" I already can't stop peeking at my photos while I'm supposed to be working!

6) Would you recommend Satin Dauls Boudoir to others?

Absolutely! 10/10... it's a must do! I will without a doubt be booking another shoot with you... and then a third... and so on.

There’s something so powerful about flowers—how they push through the soil, endure the storms, and bloom even after the harshest seasons. That same resilience, beauty, and transformation are exactly what came to mind when my client, a breast cancer survivor, finally stepped in front of my camera for her boudoir session. She had waited for this moment, choosing to book her shoot after completing a deeply personal part of her journey—getting her floral bra tattoo. This tattoo wasn’t just about covering her scars; it was about turning them into something beautiful, something hers. It transformed the story her body told, intertwining survival with art in the most breathtaking way. For her, the tattoo wasn’t just ink—it was a reclamation. After everything her body had been through—the surgeries, the healing, the emotional weight of survival—this tattoo became a symbol of her strength, her femininity, and her choice to bloom again. Instead of seeing reminders of pain in the mirror, she now saw a garden of resilience. And when she stepped into the studio, wearing nothing but confidence and those beautifully inked flowers, it was like watching someone step fully into their power. Every pose, every glance in the mirror, every moment was a testament to the fact that she had survived—and she was thriving.
