That same resilience, beauty, and transformation are exactly what came to mind when my client, a breast cancer survivor, finally stepped in front of my camera for her boudoir session. She had waited for this moment, choosing to book her shoot after completing a deeply personal part of her journey—getting her floral bra tattoo. This tattoo wasn’t just about covering her scars; it was about turning them into something beautiful, something hers. It transformed the story her body told, intertwining survival with art in the most breathtaking way. For her, the tattoo wasn’t just ink—it was a reclamation. After everything her body had been through—the surgeries, the healing, the emotional weight of survival—this tattoo became a symbol of her strength, her femininity, and her choice to bloom again. Instead of seeing reminders of pain in the mirror, she now saw a garden of resilience.
