1. What made you choose Satin Dauls Boudoir?

I chose Satin Dauls Boudoir after seeing such beautiful images of women who resembled me. It really convinced me that Satin Dauls was the perfect fit for me. Seeing women of all shades, shapes, sizes is really important to me since it is lacking in most forms of art when showing beauty. I wanted to be the art for once.

2. What were you nervous about going into your session?

I was extremely nervous going into the session. I was worried about my flaws… not having good images in the end… but…When I arrived, I was welcomed and felt comfortable in the space as well as with the artists—both makeup and photographer—Bree. I was ready to take it all off after makeup!

3. What was your favorite part of the experience?

My favorite part of the experience was the viewing. I was so nervous about what the images would look like and if they would be sexy— the constant questioning of being enough. I was about seven months postpartum and also…covid. It was a nice escape. I was blown away by my own beauty. I never felt that before.

4. How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

I’m so happy that I did it, and I would love to do it again when the right time comes. Hmmm…

5. Would you recommend Satin Dauls Boudoir to others?

Absolutely. Be like Nike and “Just Do It”!
